In a Cooperative apartment complex, a wide range of people join together for shelter. People in cooperative arrangements can provide for themselves the other fundamentals of human life: food, clothing, energy, medicine etc.

Apartment Coops have in them people with the talents needed to branch out into these other fudamental areas. Just as we can bring politics home to our neighborhoods, we can bring basic economics home.

Apartment coops today minimize awareness of their potential for increasing cooperation as a force in economics. We can change that by incrementally infusing Coop life with opportunities to cooperate.
